PJ Tucker

Another surprise addition would come if they went after PJ Tucker. Ending up in Toronto, Tucker doesn’t seem like he’d fit well with the Raptors in the long term.

Another guy who hasn’t averaged double digits in scoring per game isn’t anything special offensively, but would be more of a roster spot to fill for not so expensive.

Los Angeles will already be looking to drop plenty of money on bigger names, anyway. They’ll have to be clear with Tucker from the beginning, if they decide to negotiate him.

Picturing what his best asset will be, it’s hard to overlook that they’ll need over rebounding guys besides DeAndre Jordan. Tucker and Jordan could produce a lot of the boards if need be, with Tucker needing to step up from his 5.8 rebounds per game to actually make a difference.

This signing should/would/could only happen if the Clippers run out of options in terms of forwards and he’s still one of the guys on the market.
