NBA Free Agency 2017: 15 free agent targets for the Clippers

Brandon Jennings
A surprise pick up that the Clippers could be after this off-season is Brandon Jennings. After playing last season with Washington, the Wizards could be ready to move in a different direction from him.
Being from Compton, the Clippers could look to bring a sort of homecoming to fruition for the point guard. As a free agent, that might be on Jennings’ mind as he makes a decision on where he’ll sign to play next season.
His biggest talent that could come in handy as a backup would be through his passing. Averaging five assists per game last season while just scoring seven points, that could come in handy for the Clippers.
They’ll need a point guard that can move the ball effectively and without much hesitation. Jennings, assuming he’ll make mostly smart passes, could become incredibly valuable to them if they do make a playoff run next season.
Without Chris Paul it’ll be tough, but there are point guard options out there that could do the trick. This also depends on what weapons you have on the rest of your roster along with the fact that a coaching change could also soon be in play.
But aside from all of that, expect Jennings to be a dark horse on their radar.
