Andre Iguodala

A name in the mix that the Clippers would be lucky to get is shooting guard Andre Iguodala. His time with Golden State has shown that he can still bring it as a veteran, even to the point of being named an NBA Finals MVP.

For Los Angeles, Iguodala’s role would be more mental and instructional than anything. If the Clippers expect anything crazy from him, they’ll only be disappointed.

With the opening of a D-League team in Ontario, the Clippers run the risky task of making the most out of it. In order for that to happen, getting battle tested veterans on the roster that know a thing or two about winning is a must.

In four seasons with the Warriors, Iguodala has never averaged above ten points per game. Given that, plus the fact that he’s on his way to being 34 years old, he’s not as much as an x-factor in terms of being the big game guy.

But that’s okay, this is about getting him for the right role.
