2. Indiana Pacers

Jordan Clarkson to the Indiana Pacers is much more than a solid guard heading to an eighth seed playoff team. It revolves around one man, one man who has been rumored to be joining the Los Angeles Lakers for quite some time. No name has been in the Lakers rumors more times than this man. This man is, of course, Paul George.

George seems to be the superstar that the Lakers need, the man who can finally take over Kobe’s reign of LA. While George is nowhere the kind of player Kobe is, the Lakers desperately need a superstar to lead this young core, making George the match made in heaven. Despite Brandon Ingram being untouchable, Paul George is still heavily rumored to the Los Angeles Lakers.

This works out perfectly for the Lakers. Not only is George the exact player the team needs, Clarkson would be a perfect fit into this Indiana organization. Obviously, it would take much more than just Clarkson to get this deal done, but the use of Clarkson would be tremendous for Indiana. Not only is this deal the best for the Lakers, it would give the Pacers the perfect young player.

Jeff Teague is set to hit the free agency market this offseason, leaving the Pacers without a viable starting point guard. Clarkson, who saw time at the point, could fill in for Teague and join Myles Turner to form a great young duo, that with the right pieces around, could thrive.

Heck, even if the Pacers bring back Teague Clarkson would be the perfect sixth man behind aging Monta Ellis. Regardless of the exact role he would play Clarkson can gel nicely with this team.
