The latest Lakers rumors focus on how Brandon Ingram can really improve his game.

One of the best players in the NBA is forward Kevin Durant. Now with the Warriors, Durant was still a top tier guy while with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After an interesting free agency decision, Durant is showing that he made the right decision, as he thrived in Game 1 of the 2017 Finals.

This is the superstar’s second appearance in the championship round, with his last time ending in a five game series loss.

While he’s doing big things with the best team in the league, questions remain about how the best team in league history will return to contention. Part of that process is by trusting their young core, of which Brandon Ingram is the only untouchable piece.

Around the time of the draft last season, Durant compared Ingram to himself. Similar in frame, there’s a lot to like about the former Duke phenom.

That being said, let’s look at three reasons that Brandon Ingram could actually end up better than Kevin Durant.
