Julius Randle

Another current member of the Los Angeles Lakers in this super starting five would be Julius Randle, and he would impress a lot of people. Randle is a solid double-double machine, and with only two full seasons under his belt, the 22-year-old will undoubtedly become one of the best power forwards in the game of basketball.

In his first two seasons as a Laker Randle has 12.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. We saw his scoring increase this last season to 13.2 per game, so it is perfectly viable to see Randle hitting the 15 points per game mark in the near future. With the ability to snag rebounds, we could easily see a 15-10 player in Julius Randle.

Randle could be the type of player that Draymond Green was for the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors. Although Randle is not as good of a defender, Green averaged 14.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game that season. Randle is not a bad defender by any stretch, so to see him put up those kinds of numbers would be huge for the Los Angeles Lakers.

I strongly feel that Randle is the most overlook, underrated Laker. He has easily been the best of the young trio in Los Angeles, and while his ceiling may not be as high, he definitely can reach his all-star ceiling. The Lakers have something special in Randle, and he would play a pivotal role in this Lakers super team.
