With voting for the 88th Major League Baseball All-Star game in progress, it is time to take a look at the potential candidates according to these Dodgers rumors.

The latest voting update shows three Dodgers in the top five at their respective positions: Corey Seager leads NL shortstops; Yasmani Grandal is fifth at the catcher slot, and Justin Turner ranks third for third basemen.

Other Dodgers candidates listed on the ballot but not placing well at this point include first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, outfielders Joc Pederson and Andre Ethier and second baseman Logan Forsythe. Outfielder Yasiel Puig is also on the ballot and currently ranks 14th out of 45 outfielders.

Of course, pitchers are not selected on the All-Star ballot but it is nearly certain that Clayton Kershaw will head up the National League staff. Kenley Jansen is still as unhittable as ever and is perfect in save opportunities in 2017, so he is a strong contender for a coveted spot.

But what other Dodgers deserve more votes in the All-Star balloting? What players on the team can we expect to see playing for Joe Maddon in Miami on July 11th? We take a look at the top candidates for the midsummer classic here.
