Los Angeles Dodgers: Fifty greatest Dodgers of all-time (45-41)

45. OF Andre Ethier (23.9 WAR)
Stats: 1433 G, .285 AVG, 160 HR, 684 RBI, 2x All-Star, 1x Silver Slugger, 1x Gold Glove
I think that Andre Ethier holds a special place in all of our hearts as Dodger fans. Ethier has been a career Dodger, bursting onto the MLB scene back in 2006. Alongside Matt Kemp, Ethier served as the face of the Dodgers for quite some time, that is until ace Clayton Kershaw assumed that role. There have been some great moments with Ethier, and some bad ones as well.
Perhaps the favorite memory of Ethier by many Dodger fans is his walk-off extravaganza that he held in 2009. That season Ethier managed to hit six walk-offs for the Los Angeles Dodgers, with four of those six coming as walk-off home runs. Ethier had backed his solid production with his clutch genes, winning over every fan in the process.
Ethier’s 2009 was arguably his best season, as he brought home the Silver Slugger award alongside finishing sixth in NL MVP voting. That season Ethier batted to a .272 clip, slugging 31 home runs and 106 runs batted in.
In the stretch from the start of 2009 to the half way point of 2011, Ethier was great. In that span the outfielder managed to slug 63 home runs, drive in 232 runners, batting .288 in the process. However, injuries have plagued Ethier, and in his career since he has only slugged 53 home runs and brought in 256 runners.
Injuries have plagued Ethier from turning into the spectacular player that he could have been. Still, as of now, he is the 45th best Dodger in franchise history.
