Cameron Maybin

Cameron Maybin is on the disabled list just like Mike Trout. He was placed on the list around the same time Trout was. He landed on the DL with a left oblique contusion last week.

Maybin also injured himself last year similar to the way Trout injured himself this year. Maybin is one of many difference makers on the Angels roster and is a versatile athlete. He has a good baseball IQ as well and can read the defense.

Cameron is also good at running the bases and making defensive stops. Just like everyone else though he needs to learn how to say healthy for the whole season or most of it at least.

He is one of their great defenders playing next to Trout. Maybin plays left field and isn’t afraid to get dirty. He has speed to make outstanding diving and sometimes even acrobatic catches in the outfield.
