2017 NBA Mock Draft: Three prospects who will surprise everyone

The topic of a 2017 NBA Mock Draft has been happening since before the lottery.

In my version of a 2017 NBA Mock Draft, I will write about three players who will possibly go number one overall. Of course, there is a plethora of athletes who can be selected in the draft as the number one overall pick. However, my list here won’t be your normal obvious players who you think would get drafted in that spot.

This list will be players you wouldn’t see being drafted to the Celtics.

All three of them were household names for their respective schools. They each have different skill sets, which is what makes them unique. They have an equal opportunity at being selected number one overall since Boston is unsure of who they want to acquire from the draft.

At first glance, they won’t make sense. But after reading why they would fit in with the team, it will all make sense. These three picks will be good no matter where they get drafted. However, these three picks are also my surprise picks for three players possibly being selected number one overall in the 2017 NBA Draft.

One of the players may not be a surprise to go one overall, but they will be a surprise to what team they are selected to. Most of these players are big men who can end up being drafted to the Boston Celtics.
