Gerald Everett

Now on to the receiving options they selected in the draft.

They did well in the draft with who they selected. These players were prominent at their school, yet not everyone knew about them. In a way that is good, because it puts less pressure on them and can help them perform better in the regular season.

Gerald Everett is a tight end they selected from South Alabama. This is excellent because he can play with Tyler Higbee, unless McVay wants only one of them on the field.

This also creates healthy competition at the tight end position. Additionally, he is physical which will help with the run game. When you can block as tight end, you usually get rewarded whether it is by receptions or scoring touchdowns. Having a tight end who can block and make receptions is a bonus for the quarterback.
