The latest Lakers rumors address the possible acquisition of Tony Allen.

With the draft coming up, Lakers rumors are all over the place. Nobody seems to be able to pinpoint who Los Angeles plans on taking second overall, and that’s a good thing.

The team is also expected to be a reasonable threat in free agency. With the number of valuable players on the market this summer and next, it’s only a matter of time before Los Angeles makes a splash.

Magic Johnson’s Lakers need a superstar in order to contend. Assuming that the Warriors stay in tact for at least next season, if not longer, it’s a golden opportunity for the purple and gold to trust the process.

One of the names that is likely to come up this summer is former Grizzlies guard Tony Allen. Known for being a versatile defender, Allen has a lot of components to his game that would be welcomed under the bright lights of Hollywood.
