Lakers draft rumors: 3 reasons to go with Dennis Smith Jr.

The latest Lakers draft rumors give three reasons to draft Dennis Smith Jr.

By now, all the Lakers draft rumors are about what they’ll do with the second overall pick. Originally, it was thought that Lonzo Ball would be an easy choice, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

After a workout for the team in which the organization deemed his conditioning an issue, Ball might have to deal with playing elsewhere.

If Los Angeles doesn’t make the kids dream come true, there are other options. Among them are De’Aaron Fox, Markelle Fultz, Josh Jackson, and Dennis Smith Jr.

The latter is the biggest dark horse, but there’s plenty of reason to believe that there’s still a chance he joins the Lakers. Los Angeles needs a point guard that can bring their best every night while finding ways to make the offense better as a whole.

With that being said, here’s three reasons the Lakers should draft Dennis Smith Jr.
