Thomas Rawls (SEA)

2016 Stats:

CAR: 109
RUSH YDS: 349
REC: 13
REC YDS: 96
TD: 3

2017 Outlook: Thomas Rawls shocked the league in 2015 when he rushed for three 100 yard games, one 200 yard game, and 5.6 yards per carry while still battling an aging and injured Marshawn Lynch for the starting job; doing all of this as an un-drafted free-agent.

After having a more efficient rookie campaign than even Todd Gurley in 2016, he was expected to be the Seahawks main back.

Since that season, however, Rawls has had trouble staying in the healthy-playing only 22 games in two seasons. This lead to the Seahawks bringing in Eddie Lacy this off-season to potentially take Rawls’ place due to his unreliability. If this is the case, Rawls will have a limited role behind a Seahawks line that has struggled in recent history.

Rawls could have a more evenly split role with Lacy and has shown great potential, which would make his projections this season seem slightly better; but with Lacy looking to take rushing downs work and C.J. Prosise being the third down back, there is little room for Rawls in the Seahawks’ offense.
