Tevin Coleman (ATL)

2016 Stats:

CAR: 118
RUSH YDS: 520
REC: 31
REC YDS: 421
TD: 11

2017 Outlook: Unlike Abdullah, Tevin Coleman had a dominant 2016 campaign to follow a disappointing rookie year in which he was injured, fumbled frequently, and had the job taken by a more explosive and efficient Devonta Freeman. Though he missed 3 games in 2016, Coleman came away with almost 1,000 yard and 11 touchdowns despite sharing the backfield with Devonta Freeman.

Additionally, his run after the catch ability is impeccable and he fixed his fumbling problem which lead to an increased role in the Falcon’s offense. Because of his versatility in the offense, Coleman is one of a select few running backs that can reach 1,000 yards in a committee style backfield.

What remains to be seen is if he will be able to produce the same numbers without Mike Shanahan to guide the offense. Many of the weapons in the offense are the same, and the O-line is still phenomenal, so if the team can get past the loss of their offensive coordinator, Coleman should be in for another explosive year.
