The Los Angeles Lakers talk never ends. What are the latest Lakers rumors, news, and more while we creep closer to the 2017 NBA Draft?

As we creep closer and closer to the 2017 NBA Draft the Lakers Rumors and news continue to circle at a rapid pace. Here is a summary of the latest talk around the Lakers universe.

Lakers worried that Lonzo Ball is out of shape?

In case you missed it, on Wednesday, June 7th, the UCLA prodigy Lonzo Ball worked out with the Los Angeles Lakers. For those of you unfamiliar with Ball, he is a Southern California native, that due to his playmaking ability, seems to be a perfect fit on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ball has already made shockwaves throughout the league, despite not even being drafted yet. Whether it his overpriced shoes, or his outlandish father, Ball has been the constant topic of discussion throughout the league.

The newest talk surrounding Lonzo Ball has not been so kind, however. According to Mark Medina of the Orange County Register, the Lakers may be concerned with the physical shape that Ball is in.

"“Some observers of Ball’s workout last Wednesday thought he came in out of shape. Ball acknowledged that the “drills get you tired, so you got to stay focused.””"

These recent reports are only furthering the idea that the Lakers may indeed pass on Lonzo Ball in the 2017 NBA Draft. Ball has been connected to the Lakers before he even declared for the draft, as he seemed to be the perfect playmaking guard that the team needed.

However, whether it be due to his lack of stamina or his outlandish father, the Lakers seem to be shifting their focus over to other prospects. Two of these potential targets are De’Aaron Fox and Josh Jackson, who both received workouts on Tuesday, June 13th.
