Weeks 10-13

Week ten: Chargers at Jaguars

Week nine is the Chargers’ bye week, hence why it jumped from week eight to week ten. After starting 4-4 the Chargers will have a much-needed bye, heading to Florida to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

While Blake Bortles has shown the ability to put up monster games against bad defenses, he has also shown bad decision-making. This will be a slugfest until the end, where Rivers veteran prowess will allow the Chargers to edge out the Jaguars. 41-35 Chargers. (5-4)

Week eleven: Bills at Chargers

The Chargers then must travel all the way across the country to return home to face the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo is coming off a mediocre season which saw their head coach Rex Ryan get fired.

New head coach Anthony Lynn came from the Bills, first hand experiencing the mess that was their 2016-17 season. The entire season will be an uphill battle for the Bills new coaching staff, as they look to turn around the mess Rex Ryan left behind. This will leave them unprepared for the Chargers in week eleven. 30-20 Chargers. (6-4)

Week twelve: Chargers at Cowboys

The Chargers will head to Dallas, Texas to square off against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. As awesome as it is to finally see your favorite team play on Thanksgiving, like with the Patriots, it is hard to make a case for the Chargers to beat the Cowboys. Dallas’ offense is just too talented for the Chargers secondary. 37-28 Cowboys. (6-5)

Week thirteen: Browns at Chargers

Los Angeles did lose to the Browns last season, giving them their only win on the year. With first overall pick Myles Garrett and three options at quarterback, this Browns team shouldn’t be as bad as the 1-15 Browns. However, LA will play with a vengeance that will lead to a decisive victory. 24-7 Chargers. (7-5)
