The latest Lakers rumors address the possible jersey numbers for Paul George in LA.

Lakers rumors starting buzzing again on Sunday, as news that Paul George informed the Pacers he intends to leave made way across social media. Twitter exploded, as with any major story, but the superstar made it clear.

His eyes are on LA and he wants to become a part of the Lakers.

There are a number of factors that come into play with this homecoming. But above all, the lack of winning and constant trade rumors seem to play the bigger part of it.

Over his career with Indiana, George has donned two numbers — 13 and 24. If he does play for the Lakers, he won’t be able to wear either one of those numbers.

The problem with that is Los Angeles already has 13 retired (Wilt Chamberlin) and Kobe Bryant (both 8 and 24) has yet to have his numbers retired, but only left the game a season ago.

Here’s three options for Paul George to consider wearing in purple and gold.
