Draft Day 2017 is here, and there’s nothing that can stop the madness.

It is now the biggest day of the new class of rookies’ lives. They will be selected by name, called on stage, and congratulated with friends and family all watching.

One of the top prospects in this draft is UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball. Expected to get drafted second overall by the Lakers, it may not be too much of a lock.

There’s always the chance that the Lakers have been just blowing smoke. Trying to call other teams’ bluff ahead of the draft to see what moves they make. In response, Philadelphia acquired the first pick from Boston via trade.

The Celtics will now pick third, in addition to receiving later draft picks.

Ball’s remarkable passing game could be valuable and translate well at the next level. If nothing else, the bigger question in play is how much of a distraction his father, LaVar, could potentially be.

Some say there’s no reason to worry about him. Others say that kind of reaction is exactly why they should worry.

It could cause the Lakers to pass on him, and if that happens he’ll have to deal with playing somewhere else.

Here’s three teams that could pick him up on draft night.
