The latest Lakers rumors try to predict just how good it’ll be under Lonzo Ball.

Now that there’s no question about the captain of the team, it’s time for the Lakers to show up again. Several disappointing seasons have left fans hungry for a contending team.

With Kobe Bryant’s retirement right in the middle of it all, Los Angeles will also have to live without D’Angelo Russell. The Lakers front office dealt the former second overall pick to Brooklyn to help clear the runway for Ball and get rid of a bad Timofey Mozgov contract.

Lonzo Ball did his part at UCLA, despite what some might think of his obnoxious father. It wasn’t just talk, as Ball was the best player on the Bruins and led them to an appearance in the Sweet 16.

He’ll have all sorts of weapons to work with, and a young coaching staff ready to make a splash. LaVar Ball has already predicted that his son will lead Los Angeles back to the playoffs in his first season.

With all of that in mind and considered, it’s time to give an early prediction to the first four years of Lonzo Ball.
