CINCINNATI, OH – JUNE 18: Yasiel Puig – Dodgers Rumors /

Fans either love or hate the spectacle that Yasiel Puig is for the Dodgers. However, regardless of your stance, Puig remains amidst the Dodgers rumors.

Yasiel Puig has been lighting up the scoreboards at Chavez Ravine for four seasons now. Puig made his debut on June 3, 2013. Since Puig’s call-up, which sparked the Dodgers run to the 2013 postseason, the Boys in Blue have put together a 402-276 record. While that success cannot be single-handedly attributed to Yasiel Puig, the Dodgers have been great since his arrival.

Yet, Puig’s antics and immaturity have always cast question marks above his head. Those who are baseball purists cannot stand Puig, whether it is due to his over the top bat flips or his insensitive gestures.

However, Puig’s talent has kept him afloat. While he has struggled in the past, even getting sent down to AAA, Puig still is arguably the most athletic Dodger and could turn into something special. Puig has one of the best arms in the game, has explosive speed, and possesses true power when he connects with the ball.

This season, Puig has played fairly well. While he may not be living up to his expectations, Puig has put together a .250 average with 15 home runs and 42 RBIs. With those same averages, Puig is set to slug 28 home runs and drive in 78 runs batted in – not a bad year out of the right fielder.

But still, it is Puig’s on the field antics that keep him within the Dodgers rumors. With Yasiel Puig trade rumors circulating for years now, let’s take an unorthodox approach to analyze Puig’s trade value.  Using the trade finder in MLB the Show 17, let’s look at what the Dodgers can get from a Yasiel Puig trade.
