Lakers Rumors: Updated trade packages for Jordan Clarkson

With his $12 million annual salary, Jordan Clarkson has become a tradeable asset for the Lakers. According to Lakers rumors, what trades make sense?
As great as Jordan Clarkson is, and as much as fans love him, chances are that the young guard may be dealt in the coming future. Clarkson holds one of the biggest contracts on the team and as they approach the time to acquire a superstar that will ultimately just hold them down. With the talent he possesses, Clarkson should be a fairly easy trade chip to get rid of.
The problem lies that Clarkson may be better suited to be a point guard, yet he will likely gear up as the starting shooting guard. We all saw how great Clarkson did at the end of last season when he essentially played the point. However, because of new wonder kid Lonzo Ball, that point guard position is off limits.
Several months back we did a similar article looking at possible trade packages for Clarkson. Now, the landscape of the NBA has shifted and there are new suitors and better deals to be made. Los Angeles already got rid of Timofey Mozgov’s awful contract, so they likely will be active in trying to get rid of Clarkson.
Personally, I think Clarkson is a great role player. If the team can somehow get him to fit in with these stars it would benefit them greatly, however, his cost may prevent that. Therefore, with the latest Lakers rumors in mind, here are some trade packages the Lakers can get for Jordan Clarkson.
