Los Angeles Dodgers: The ten best moments of the first half

The Los Angeles Dodgers have had a special first half of 2017. This special half has resulted in many memorable moments.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are entering the second half of the MLB season with a 61-29 record, good for the best mark in all of baseball. If their solid play continues they will post the best record in Los Angeles Dodgers history and could potentially flirt with the best record in franchise history (besting the 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers).
This is the kind of play that many baseball fans have expected out of the Dodgers for the past several years. Los Angeles seemingly is always one of the most talented teams, but whether it is due to injury or lack of depth, the team never really dominated. Sure, Los Angeles holds the longest active postseason streak, but they never dominated throughout the season.
2013 would be the closest thing in recent memory after the team went on a huge hot streak following the debut of Yasiel Puig. However, the team still only finished with 92 wins. This team is on pace to win 110 games, the fifth most in MLB history.
Ironically, this has come from guys that were either home grown or sleeper trades. This is not like the past where the Dodgers went out and acquired a Zack Greinke or Adrian Gonzalez. This is homegrown, this is smart pickups.
Cody Bellinger, Chris Taylor, Justin Turner, Alex Wood, Corey Seager, Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen, Austin Barnes, Yasiel Puig and Yasmani Grandal are all playing good. None of these guys were superstar signings or trades, they all either came from the Dodgers farm system or as part of a minor trade.
This clubhouse has chemistry. That is the reason why they are playing so good, this team is not a bunch of stars just thrown together. They have grown a bond, a bond that has produced a miraculous season and ten great moments.
