Corey Brewer – Prediction: 67 (-4)

Corey Brewer will likely see his rating take a slight hit in this year’s installment of NBA 2K. Brewer is coming off of a career-low year in points, rebounds and assists. With so much young talent ahead of him, chances are Brewer will not have that big of an impact on the court for the real or virtual Lakers.

Luol Deng – Prediction: 69 (-4)

Much like Brewer, Luol Deng will likely also see his rating take a dip in NBA 2K17. After signing an outrageous contract with Los Angeles Deng failed to do much of anything. Last season was the first in which he only scored in single digits, with his shooting dropping to a career-low 38.7%.

Thomas Bryant – Prediction: 71

The lowest rated rookie for the Lakers, Bryant will come in lower than we saw Ivica Zubac last season. Despite both being second round picks, Zubac seemed to have more promise and talent than Bryant. Bryant’s shooting may keep him afloat next season, but his already weak rebounding is going to be a big issue at the NBA level.

Josh Hart – Prediction: 73

Josh Hart was widely regarded as a huge sleeper choice for the Lakers. Now, that title has transitioned over to power forward Kyle Kuzma. However, Hart’s great scoring at the collegiate level will give him a decent rating as 2K players can expect a nice bench scorer in Hart.
