Kyle Kuzma – Prediction: 75

After a dominating Summer League fans may expect a higher rating for versatile forward Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma showed that he has a niche for scoring and can be the best sleeper selection in the entire draft class. However, rookies usually do not get that high of a rating unless they are highly touted coming out of college.

The strong Summer League play will net Kuzma a 75 rating, likely higher than it would have been without. However, if he wants higher, he needs to continue that play into the regular season when it really matters.

Larry Nance Jr. – Prediction: 76 (No change)

For the second installment in a row, chances are that the Lakers back up power forward Larry Nance Jr. will own a 76 rating. Although Nance did showcase the ability to explode to the hoop and finish with raw power, that alone will not be enough to get a rating bump. Nance played last season, well, like a 76 rated player and there is nothing wrong with that.

Ivica Zubac – Prediction: 76 (+1)

Ivica Zubac likely surprised some people last season. Nobody really knew what to expect out of the young second round draft pick. Yet, in limited playing time, Zubac showed signs of promise. In only 16 minutes played per game, Zubac averaged 7.5 points and 4.2 rebounds. While those numbers don’t blow anyone away, they are promising.
