Brandon Ingram – Prediction: 77 (+2)

Brandon Ingram’s rookie season with the Lakers was, well, disappointing. The second overall selection in the 2016 NBA Draft averaged 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in his rookie campaign. While not terrible, many fans expected Ingram to charge out of the gates and put together a fantastic rookie season.

However, Ingram did show signs of superstardom last season, which will net him a +2 rating increase. As the season goes on, and Ingram continues to develop, that rating will likely continue to grow.

Jordan Clarkson – Prediction: 78 (+1)

Clarkson didn’t necessarily play better last season than he did the year prior, but he definitely did not play worse. Coming mostly off the bench, Clarkson averaged 14.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game last season. However, Clarkson did start the last 16 games of the season and scored as much as 35 in one game. Because of that great stretch, his rating will take a slight bump.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – Prediction: 78 (+1)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Clarkson will have identical ratings in the next installment of 2K and will give gamers two different play styles. Clarkson may hold the slight scoring advantage, but Caldwell-Pope will have the edge on the defensive side of things. Regardless, the two young guards will more than likely head into next season with the same rating.
