The NFL Hall of Fame has added former Los Angeles Rams quarterback Kurt Warner to its ranks.

Thanks to this summer’s NFL Hall of Fame inductee honors, Kurt Warner has himself a spot among the game’s great players in Canton, Ohio. Warner has one of the more incredible stories in all of sports.

Coming to the league undrafted, he took advantage of an opportunity not many quarterbacks get offered. As a result, he led the way for what was known as the best show on turf. An electric Los Angeles offense, remarkable offensive efficiency along with a Super Bowl title to top it all off.

He won with Los Angeles while fighting the Tennessee Titans for the Lombardi Trophy. In another appearance in the big game, Warner fell just short of pulling off an epic comeback while head of the Arizona Cardinals.

In 124 career games, Warner managed to complete 65.5% of his passes. He tossed over 200 touchdowns to go with 128 interceptions as well.

Over his career with the Rams and others, Warner also threw for over 32,000 total yards. Spending six seasons with the Rams, Warner’s story goes to show that even the biggest underdog in sports can break any barrier.

There are several ways that people will try and recapture his story. Hollywood won’t have any luck with it, though. Capping things off with a Hall of Fame induction is an ending that even Warner couldn’t have seen coming before stepping onto the field for the first time in the NFL.

Some of the other inductees worth mentioning include running back LaDanian Tomlinson, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, and defensive monster Jason Taylor.

With all of this in mind, the Rams hope they can get something remotely close to what Warner was able to give them via first overall pick from last year in Jared Goff.
