Ah, fantasy football season is finally upon us. We are under two weeks away from the start of the NFL season and the Los Angeles Rams have some decent fantasy options.

The Los Angeles Rams sucked last season, there is no other way to put it. After starting the season 3-1, the Rams’ homecoming season fell short as they finished the year 1-11. Their only win in that time was a 9-6 win over the, also awful, New York Jets.

However, with new Head Coach Sean McVay, new Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips and new Offensive Coordinator Matt LaFleur, there is a change of culture in Los Angeles. The team fully committed to their first overall pick Jared Goff by bringing him as many weapons as they could. This young Rams team wants to develop, but they also want to win.

Because of all these new tools, the Los Angeles Rams now have many more fantasy options to explore. Therefore, as all of you Rams faithful gear up for your fantasy football draft, we give you the five best options to draft if you want to stay loyal.

Scouting Report. ESPN Rank: Fourth on Rams, 71st in WR. Robert Woods. Pick Analysis. WR. 5. player. 51

ESPN has Robert Woods as the fourth best option on the Rams, but realistically, he is the fifth. Woods is coming over from the Buffalo Bills after a mediocre season, although he will provide great depth for the Rams.

Woods caught for 613 yards and a lone touchdown last season in 13 games played. ESPN projects similar numbers, as they anticipate Woods to have 558 receiving yards with 2.5 touchdowns. Quite frankly, ESPN could even be giving Woods a little bit too much credit. Again, he is a great depth option, but with all the new faces in the receiving core, he may start to play second fiddle.

However, his early season performance will keep him afloat in the top five. Expect Woods’ best weeks to come in the first half, after that, I would drop him. As Josh Reynolds progresses and uses his six-foot-three frame he could become the second wide out option over Woods.

Together, the two can give fantasy owners decent output if there are no other options on the table. However, Woods should remain as a backup option.
