Los Angeles Rams: The five best Rams for your fantasy football team
By Jason Reed
Cooper Kupp will surprise many people this year, hence his jump from fifth to third in our rankings. Although he won’t be a world beater and become a top fantasy option, for those of you that play weekly fantasy, he may be a solid option when the matchup is right. If you are a traditional season long fantasy owner, I would draft Kupp as his stock is low and insert him in the lineup when the matchups are favorable.
Matchups that jump right off the bat are Week one against the Colts, Week two against the Redskins, Week four against the Cowboys, Week 12 against the Saints and Week 16 against the Titans. All of those teams were in the top quarter of the league in passing yards allowed last season.
Kupp is made for the slot receiver role and he will benefit immensely from it. Especially against a team like the Redskins. Washington does have Josh Norman, but he will be lined up against Sammy Watkins. Teams will not have their number one guys on Kupp, giving him a perfect outlet to have some insane weekly performances.
Overall, Kupp will likely float around 800 receiving yards with eight touchdowns. That, in upon itself, is a fairly high projection for the third round pick. However, Kupp will have some monster weeks in the slot, mark my words.
