The start of the NFL season is almost upon us, which means fans around the world are doing their research in preparation for their fantasy football drafts taking place in the coming weeks. Here are the top five Los Angeles Chargers that can have a positive impact on your team this season.
When the Chargers made the decision to join the Rams in Los Angeles, it did not have much of an impact in terms of fantasy potential for Chargers players. The climate in Los Angeles is very similar to that of the Chargers old home in San Diego, so it shouldn’t be too much of an adjustment for Chargers players to become accustomed to their new home.
The Chargers are coming off a season where they finished a disappointing 5-11, which found them last in the AFC West. It was the second consecutive season they finished in this position, so they’ll be looking to stay healthy and improve on last season’s performance.
Head coach Mike McCoy was let go after three frustrating seasons at the helm of San Diego, so the Chargers brought in the former interim head coach and offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills, Anthony Lynn. The Chargers possess weapons on offense that Lynn will be looking to utilize, which could mean huge production for fantasy owners across the Internet.
