There are a couple of key things to keep in mind with regards to the Los Angeles Rams and their upcoming season.
The Los Angeles Rams are coming into 2017 with a chip on their shoulder. With a revamped system, a new passing game and youth on their side, LA looks to rebound from the 1-11 finish to last season.
We are about a week away from watching the Chiefs get handed their first loss as they take on the Patriots to kick off the 2017-2018 NFL regular season. As the commencement of the new year of football draws nigh, the only thing that stands between the fans and real, meaningful football is the last week of the preseason.
Through three weeks of watching backups battle for limited roster positions have been tiring for many fans as they anxiously await the dawn of the regular season, the last week of the preseason is the most important of the four.
It is in this time period that we see rosters taking shape as last-minute cuts, trades, and injury reports are made— the action only enhanced by the NFL’s new rule to eliminate the first cut day, leaving a large pool of potential talent. A projected 1,200 or so players are going to be cut from their rosters and last-minute trades will likely be made.
There will be more headlines and hot-takes than a person can count.
