Lakers Schedule: Predicting every game for the 2017-18 season

Week 9
(14-12)
With this game being one of the ESPN televised games for Los Angeles, it’ll be a chance for them to humiliate the Knicks and get back on track. It won’t be a pretty game, but it’ll be a good reminder to fans and the team alike that a win is a win. At the end of the day, what matters is that they get it done. The key to them winning in New York this time around will be their ability to be unselfish.
(15-12)
This is the game where we find out if these Lakers are the real deal. Not only would a win here help build their argument for a playoff push, but it could be one of the nails in the coffin for LeBron James to depart from Cleveland and come to Los Angeles. By playing a complete game and their young core stepping up, expect James to be very impressed with what the Lakers have to offer. This is the turning point when they catch fire and start to separate themselves from the teams they’ve had the last few seasons.
