Week 11

90. 20. 78. 86. Final

(19-13)

By now, there will be a few teams in the Western Conference separating themselves from the top. One of those teams that’s new to the playoff picture is Minnesota. For the Lakers, this win symbolizes that they’re also on the rise and a team worth watching.

106. 20. 97. 211. Final

(20-13)

Getting the best of the Grizzlies at home will get the Lakers rolling on a four game winning streak. 33 games in, Los Angeles will stand as a threat to teams fighting for positioning in seeds 5-8. Lonzo Ball won’t be doubted by now, and Josh Hart will step in as one of the key role players off the bench. Rebounding and playing with grit will be the keys to taking down Memphis, as is usual versus the Grizzlies.

20. 80. 77. Final. 93

(21-13)

Everything about the Clippers and Lakers fighting for the city of Los Angeles should give basketball fans something to look forward to at some of the key turning points of the season. This game is no different, with the Clippers looking like they’ll stop the hype about the purple and gold in its tracks. Instead, an insane fourth quarter rally will get the Lakers their fifth straight win.

111. 169. 100. 20. Final

(21-14)

With the Rockets slated for New Year’s Eve, it likely means that the Lakers will end 2017 on a losing note. However, that’s not the end of the world and it’ll just happen to be their regular season kryptonite. Not every time, but more often than not.
