Lakers Schedule: Predicting every game for the 2017-18 season
By Keith Rivas
Week 15
(27-20)
With Kyrie Irving now in their arsenal and adding his talents to the best rivalry in basketball and possibly in all of sports, it’s hard to see the Lakers being able to always hang with the Celtics. Irving is a talented, seasoned player who will have a clear advantage over Lonzo Ball unless some miraculous growth happens during the season. Anytime Lonzo Ball is overpowered at his own position is a serious problem for the Lakers.
(28-20)
Chicago won’t be much of a threat to anybody in the upcoming season, and that’s a bit of a disappointment when you consider the kind of trouble they caused last year, especially in the first round of the playoffs. Los Angeles won’t have any major problems in this game, winning their 28th game of the season.
(28-21)
Unfortunately, after being able to toy with the Chicago Bulls, the Toronto Raptors will bring the young Lakers squad back to earth. A humbling loss for a team looking like they’ve made all the culture changes necessary to do big things in the immediate future.
