Week 17

111. 66. Final. 115. 20

(30-23)

Knowing that they can’t afford to lose any of the games that they know they can win, every meeting with the Phoenix Suns has to be focused on walking off victorious. What’s going to be great about the first of three home games of the month of February for Los Angeles is that this one will be a shootout. Enjoy.

149. Final. 139. 20. 100

(31-23)

Your first reaction might be that this prediction is way too unrealistic. If things were falling in line the way things were when they last played in OKC, I would agree with you. However, given that the Lakers are going to be a little extra motivated after a thrilling win over Phoenix, they’ll be able to shut out any hard feelings from the last game against the Thunder and leave it all on the floor.

Final. 85. 79. 87. 20

(32-23)

Back on the road, the Lakers will play in Dallas before a brutal coming week where they play almost every night. It’ll be a sense of relief for this young team, but at the same time, hard as ever to focus and stay on the grind against a Dallas team that could surprise everybody. Lakers edge out the Mavs because of Dallas’ lack of defensive pressure on Lonzo and KCP.
