Week 18

91. 69. 98. 20. Final

(33-23)

Los Angeles won’t have much of an issue with New Orleans, either. Like Chicago, the Lakers will not let a team like the Pelicans stop them from showing what they’re truly capable of.The only area on the floor where the Pelicans might be able to create a disturbance is if DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis are on the same page on both sides of the ball. But again, those are just two people — the Lakers can kill with their whole team.

20. Final. 99. 86. 87

(33-24)

Minnesota is going to be really good, and a fair challenge for Los Angeles during next season. As much as we’re going to root for Lonzo Ball to do well, it’s not realistic to expect him to lead them to a win every time they go out there. Sometimes, a loss is just what’s in the cards.
