Week 22

73. Final. 94. 20. 102

(37-30)

Eve n in a loss, the Lakers will give us something to think about. In this case, it’ll be a moment for all fans to briefly take in the transformation that’s going on before their eyes. Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram have seemed to successfully change the culture in Los Angeles, and the fact that they’re at 37 wins and counting is impressive even after a loss.

Final. 97. 41. 80. 20

(37-31)

After losing in a game against Denver, the defending champion Warriors will likely be stomping all over them in postseason form. While the scoreboard indicates the game wasn’t close, the reality is that the Lakers forced the Warriors to completely depend on the three ball. Defense in terms of stopping inside shots and what not came in clutch for the Lakers. But it wasn’t enough for a win.

Final. 99. 20. 79. 110

(38-31)

It’s games like these that’ll make it really hard to determine how dangerous the Lakers really are. Coming off two losses that seemed to show their biggest weaknesses, a 20-point win over the Miami Heat will have things appearing back in order. But don’t get too comfortable just yet.
