The Lakers will lose this game because the Pacers will win by playing rough. At this point in the season, the lack of grit may be one of the glaring issues with these Lakers. Sure, young and talented is a plus — but grit matters.

You saw how good Rondo could be with the Chicago Bulls and what it meant for them when he went out with an injury. Well, the Pelicans will have that same kind of dynamic so long as Rondo stays healthy. This game will feature a beauty of a performance from Rondo, even with his aged game.

Los Angeles will begin another tumble with a big loss to Memphis. Not much to say about this game other than the fact that the Grizzlies will handle the Lakers pretty easily. Mike Conley will embarrass Lonzo Ball on both sides of the floor in this one.
