Lakers Schedule: Predicting every game for the 2017-18 season
By Keith Rivas
Week 24
(39-34)
A strong road win performance for the Lakers will have them in decent shape heading down the final stretch. This is the part of the season where we see how good the young guys handle the pressure. Josh Hart will have a big performance here.
(39-35)
A hard loss for the Lakers will come in this game. Everything will look like it’s going right, but suddenly the Mavericks won’t be able to miss in the fourth quarter. Dennis Smith Jr. will lead Dallas to a big win as they chase the eighth seed in the playoffs while the Lakers float between sixth and seventh in their conference.
(40-35)
After not getting enough done late versus Dallas, the game versus Milwaukee to close out the month of March will be worth watching. Thankfully for them, the young guys will get it finished with a win. Jordan Clarkson will be the biggest standout, after a relatively quiet season off the bench.
(41-35)
De’Aaron Fox versus Lonzo Ball is going to be fun basketball to watch for years to come. What’s even more enjoyable about the future NBA rivalry is that it’s one that carries over from college. Both point guard stars had their own good game against the other, with the careers ahead of them in the NBA determining the better overall player. Lonzo Ball will hit the dramatic game winner in this one.
