Week 2

Final. 90. 20. 105. 142

(1-3)

Yes, I am predicting that the Lakers will start 0-3 at home. What might also happen is at this point, critics will start to chirp in even louder that Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram aren’t enough to even win at Staples Center. While understandably frustrated, it’s also worth noting they’ll be playing a Washington team who took on and for a brief moment owned the Eastern Conference last season. This isn’t a chump team, and the Lakers will take this one hard.

20. 80. 81. Final. 115

(2-3)

I know, you’ll probably ask why they’ll blow the Raptors out but not the Wizards. Look, Washington isn’t a team you’re going to catch off guard on the first try — Toronto, on the other hand, can easily fall into this hole. They’re the Clippers of the Eastern Conference, and all it takes is a few early mistakes for the Lakers to pounce on the Raptors and win their first home game of the regular season.

118. 107. 20. Final. 91

(3-3)

Alright, so they got a huge win at home and now they’ll be able to show they can be dominant on the road. Utah is the perfect team to do that to, especially when you consider the star power they lost in the off-season. Rudy Gobert isn’t going to be enough of a defensive presence to stop the Los Angeles offense, which could easily start rolling by then.

Fun fact about this game: Lonzo Ball will end with a stat line boasting more than 12 assists.
