Week 7

99. 77. 88. 20. Final

(11-9)

Alright, so getting a bit of a wake up call by Sacramento might’ve been scarier than it should’ve been. the Clippers, if they start clicking on all cylinders, could be dangerous to the Lakers at this point in the regular season. Especially when you think about how Lonzo Ball’s confidence might be affected after a poor performance versus De’Aaron Fox.

Final. 107. 20. 103. 41

(12-9)

More often than they should, people have counted the Warriors to be such a legendary team. The reality is that their short spurt of success isn’t going to last forever, and the Lakers may very well pose the best long term threat to their reign in the Western Conference. Like last season, Los Angeles surprises Golden State with a big win over a stacked team that shows their young core’s strengths.

73. 96. 20. Final. 91

(13-9)

Paul Millsap deciding to play in Denver was one of the surprising things we found out through this summer’s free agency. However, the Nuggets aren’t going to be on nearly the same page as the Lakers, especially right after LA handed Golden State a defeat. Nuggets come close because game is on their floor, but the Lakers take this one and stay in the driver’s seat at all times.

20. 121. 169. Final. 108

(13-10)

Houston’s combination of Chris Paul and James Harden is going to feel a lot like the hype behind Lonzo Ball and his abilities. Either it is going to completely change the way the rest of the league has to defend them, or it’ll fall apart. At this point, the Lakers have a bad game and let two of the best guards in the league run them over at home.
