Moving from shooting guard to power forward, here we see the Lakers get arguably the most athletic player in the entire NBA. While Davis’ name has become second fiddle behind the likes of Westbrook, James Harden and Kevin Durant, to name a few, he is still a top five talent in the NBA and could do something very special if put in the right system.

Alongside LeBron and Westbrook, Davis may just be able to highlight how freakishly athletic he really is. This deal would easily give the Lakers the most athletic team in the league. Imagine being an opposing defense and seeing Westbrook, James and Davis sprinting full speed at you on a fast break. That is a scary sight for the rest of the NBA and would give us perhaps the most exciting team to watch, ever.

Out of the three deals on this list, this trade is undoubtedly the best one for the Lakers. Davis is one season away from breaking through that glass ceiling to become a huge superstar. In a massive market such as LA, Davis could take over the face of the NBA for LeBron.

Not to mention that the Pelicans could be shopping their star big man after this season. With DeMarcus Cousins set to hit free agency, the Pelicans may just hit the reset button once more. While it is a shame to see a talent like Davis go, it may be necessary to improve the future in New Orleans.

Again, while I do not think that Lonzo Ball should be traded from the Lakers anytime soon, this super team is pretty intriguing.
