Chargers vs Broncos: Three reasons LA will lose in Denver
By Keith Rivas
The first edition of Monday Night Football for the upcoming season will feature the Chargers vs Broncos — but will Los Angeles stand a chance?
It’s hard to really gauge these Los Angeles Chargers. On the one hand, they could not be ready to really compete for their division, especially given the talent in Kansas City as well as Oakland.
However, on the flip side, they have the kind of power on offense to really surprise everyone and come storming out of the gate. While their season kicks off in Denver, it will tell us all we need to know moving forward about whether or not this team will cut it.
Knowing that it is just the first game of the season, it becomes even more important for the Los Angeles Chargers to come out with a win. They’ll be playing a Broncos team that just hasn’t been the same since winning the Super Bowl with Peyton Manning two seasons ago.
If the race for the AFC West crown is going to mean anything this year, it’s absolutely essential for the Chargers to get the upper hand early on. Oakland is looking like it will handle its business and compete as a top team in the AFC, while the Chiefs have the potential to do the same.
So as long as the Chargers can try and hang with the Broncos, they have a chance.
With all of that in mind, here are the three reasons that the Chargers won’t beat the Broncos in Denver on Monday Night Football despite all of the hype surrounding the team.
