In their season opener, the LA Rams will be facing off against the Indianapolis Colts.

Not everyone knows or sees this but, this is a fair match up for the LA Rams. You all ask why do the Rams have a good chance of winning this game? Well, for starters, they have made changes during the off-season.

Next, in the preseason they proved to everyone they improved all around from starters to reserves with their good performances. One problem with the performances they will need to translate that to the regular season.

All these changes the Rams organization has made will be tested this season. According to their schedule, they can at the very least be 8-8. They may make the playoffs with this record. However, if they can end the season at 9-7 they will definitely make the post-season.

The Colts will be playing without their Pro Bowl quarterback Andrew Luck due to an injury. This increases the Rams chances of winning their season opener. Luck is the Colts team and he is their driving force.

I understand the Rams Pro Bowl defender Aaron Donald may not be ready week one. He may not play because he his holding out his contract. However, the Rams new look defense should still be stellar against the Colts offense. The Colts offense is better than their defense. Also, the Rams offense has improved drastically.

Their time to prove it will be week one at home. Goff has weapons around him along with a complimentary run game. This will help the Rams move the ball up the field and score more. The only question mark for the Rams is their special teams.

Ironically, in the previous seasons when their offense and defense were questionable their special teams was on point. Therefore, it seems like their special teams will be fine, but only time will tell us.
