Sean McVay Is A Miracle Worker

While Goff deserves credit for the offensive success this season, the one who deserves the most credit is the head coach. Whether it be natural offensive genius or some sort of dark magic resulting from a deal with the devil, Sean McVay has turned last year’s Rams offense into something new- something better.

Even with the Rams wearing their neon-yellow Color Rush uniforms, the skill and capability on display from the offense was the brightest part of the evening for LA. They absolutely shined in the shootout and many players came up big for them.

All of the free agent acquisitions from this offense had a huge impact on this game.

Andrew Whitworth protected his quarterback as the line held the Niners defense to 0 sacks. Sammy Watkins made a phenomenal catch on an even more incredible throw from Goff. Robert Woods led the team in receiving with 108 yards.

Todd Gurley has seemingly returned to his rookie season form after a dreadful campaign in 2016– amassing 149 total yards and 3 touchdowns.

The team scored on 7 out of 8 of their drives before the collapse and had little-to-no trouble moving the ball. After the high scoring affair tonight, the Rams now have 107 points on the season in three weeks. Last season, they didn’t reach 100 until week 6.

What Fisher couldn’t do over the his many years as the Rams’ coach, McVay has accomplished in an off-season.

McVay now has an abundance of young talent at his disposal- possibly even more than he had in Washington. So far, he seems to be unlocking the potential of this offense that could be among the leagues best if they continue to develop.

While the offense played an amazing game, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows for the Rams.
