Lakers Rumors: Former Lakers that should rejoin the team this season

There have been a lot of encouraging Los Angeles Lakers rumors dating back to last offseason. With all things considered, what former Lakers would benefit from rejoining LA?
The Los Angeles Lakers are arguably the most prestigious franchise in NBA history. Yet, for the last four seasons, the team has undergone a dry spell that is the worst in franchise history. For many franchises, a four-year playoff drought is a common occurrence. For the Los Angeles Lakers, it is the first time in 60 years that the team has missed the playoffs in more than two straight years.
Now, the Lakers find themselves in a position that they are not familiar with, the team is loaded with young talent without any credible established talent. Los Angeles fixed that by acquiring guys like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Brook Lopez, but still, this is a shell of the Lakers the fans know and love.
Because of this, many Lakers rumors have been running rampant, providing hope and optimism in a spoiled fan base that is still only seven years removed from their last title. Every superstar imaginable has been somehow drawn to the Los Angeles Lakers, and with probability in mind, chances are someone has to come to LA.
For now, maybe that someone should be a former teammate. With the struggles of the last few seasons has seen a revolving door of talent. It is a good thing that some of this talent walked away, yet, the Lakers could still benefit from bringing some back.
With that being said, the Lakers have an agenda to push, and some former players fit that agenda perfectly. Here are three former Lakers that should rejoin the team in the near future.
