The Los Angeles Rams enter week five with a 3-1 record for the second consecutive season. What should fans expect against the Seattle Seahawks?

For the second straight season, the Rams finished the first quarter of the NFL season with a 3-1 record. Just like last season, the Los Angeles Rams are first in the NFC West, except this time, they are the lone team atop the mountain. However, unlike last season, the Rams look like they actually belong in first place.

Last season, the Rams lost their opening contest to the San Francisco 49ers 24-0. This would be one of two wins for the 49ers, the other also against the Rams. Then, in the next three weeks, Los Angeles defeated the Seahawks, Buccaneers and Cardinals by a combined 15 points.

LA was obviously exposed the rest of the season, as they finished their hot start with a 1-11 record; their only win being a 9-6 contest over the New York Jets. However, with a brand new head coach, defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator – along with a resurging Jared Goff – the Rams look like a playoff-caliber team.

In the team’s three wins the Rams put up a combined 122 points. Their high-profile offense is outweighing any holes in the secondary. Not many were buying into the Rams hype train after they defeated the Colts and 49ers, but a 35-30 win against the Dallas Cowboys has effectively put Los Angeles on the radar.

Next week the Rams have a division test at their hands as they take on the second place Seattle Seahawks. Seattle has been the most successful team in the NFC West this decade, however, we could see a passing of the torch in 2017. If the Rams Want to keep their hot streak going, here are three keys to defeat the Seattle Seahawks.
