It’s time for October Dodger baseball! The Los Angeles Dodgers square off against the rivaled Diamondbacks in what looks to be an epic NLDS.

On one side you have an MLB powerhouse that once looked to beat the all-time wins record before embarking on an 11-game losing streak. On the other, a hot upcoming team that is ready to slay any challenges ahead. Ladies and gentleman, I give you the 2017 NLDS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks.

In what looks to be the best divisional round of this year’s postseason, the Dodgers and Diamondbacks will tango for five ballads, the first to three goes on to the NLCS.

Los Angeles has Clayton Kershaw; Arizona, Kershaw’s former pitching mate, Zack Greinke. Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger provide the fireworks in Los Angeles; Paul Goldschmidt and J.D. Martinez do the same in Arizona.

The hottest team of the summer squares off against their kryptonite – the team that defeated them 11 of 19 times in the regular season; the same team that just defeated the Colorado Rockies 11-8. Eleven is the unlucky number for the Dodgers – game five of this series takes place on October the 11th.

Nobody knows what to expect when the unstoppable force meets the immovable object. For the fans of both teams, they simply must wait for the first pitch, 7:30 P.D.T on Friday, to see what will happen.

In preparation for what should be an epic series, LA Sports Hub pieced together the five players to watch in the NLDS.
