The Los Angeles Lakers enter the 2017-18 season with a lot of eyes on them. According to the latest Lakers rumors, how likely is each player of getting dealt?

With an entirely new outlook on the 2017-18 season, fans of the Los Angeles Lakers can head into the season with an optimistic outlook. Los Angeles looks significantly better than last year with new key pieces. As of now, only Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle remain in the starting five from last year and Ingram only started 40 games.

At point guard, the Lakers added the most talked about rookie in Lonzo Ball. Ball, due to his polarizing father and their self-made Big Baller Brand, has become the face of the 2017 draft class. Whether Ball flops or goes out and drops triple-doubles, it will evoke a reaction.

Ball’s predecessor at the point guard position, D’Angelo Russell, was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in order to get rid of Timofey Mozgov’s contract. In that deal, Los Angeles netted their new starting center, Brook Lopez. Lopez is on an expiring deal and serves as a significant upgrade from last season.

At the shooting guard position, Los Angeles hit the free agent market and picked up Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Caldwell-Pope serves a similar role to that of Jordan Clarkson. Now adding Caldwell-Pope allows the Lakers to give more minutes at the point guard position to Clarkson, where he thrived last season.

Overall, the Lakers head into next season with a brand new look. Yet, still, the whirlwind of Lakers rumors surround the team. Whether it is trade speculation or the next big star to sign in free agency, the Lakers are one of the most talked about teams in the NBA.

With that in mind, we decided to rank the likelihood of each Laker being dealt at some time during the 2017-18 NBA season.
