The Los Angeles Lakers enter 2017 in much better shape than 2016. However, with Lakers rumors in mind, the team still has some big moves to make.

The 2017-18 NBA season is almost upon us. In what was a wild offseason, the entire landscape of the NBA has been shifted. Stars like Paul George, Carmelo Anthony, Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas all have found new homes this season. The Los Angeles Lakers brought in some new faces of their own.

Los Angeles only has two starters returning from last season; Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram. At point guard, the Lakers went from second overall selection D’Angelo Russell to second overall selection Lonzo Ball. At shooting guard, the Lakers brought in $18 million rental option Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Then, down low, the Lakers brought in a great scoring center in Brook Lopez.

The Lakers are not done getting better, though. The final plan for Rob Pelinka and company is reportedly to bring in two superstars by 2018. For a team that has mediocre for some years now, that is hard to imagine; yet the allure of Los Angeles keeps hope alive.

Therefore, we are going to take matters into our own hands. According to the latest Lakers rumors, here are the three best trades the Lakers can make this season.
